INTRODUCTION Neighborhood IIII is proposed as the fourth cohousing neighborhood to be built at EcoVillage at Ithaca in New York. The Design Project has been posted on the Internet to facilitate student involvement. The design presented here has been generated by Delton Jackson as part of his masters thesis in Urban Environmental Design.

The Neighborhood IIII Project has been an effort to design a sustainable Cohousing community of between 30 and 50 residences, as well as a central Common House and associated community buildings. Conceived as the fourth neighborhood to be built at EcoVillage at Ithaca, the project has been made available for student participation via the Internet. The proposals and designs presented here have been excerpted from those generated by Delton Jackson, an expatriate American currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Urban Environmental Design at Leeds Metropolitan University in England.
