Ocean:
Bellport Village owns a 16 acre parcel on Fire Island at the center of the National Park Services's 8 Mile Wilderness Zone. The village operates its own private ferry to this idyllic setting. Unencumbered by crowds, this is the perfect place to unwind with a picnic supper after work or to spend a day with friends and family.
Bay:
The Village maintains 2 bayfront beaches on the shore of Great South Bay. "Mother's Beach, which as the name implies, provides a quiet haven for small children to indulge in sand castles, swings and sunning with mom (and dad) in the fresh sea air. The "Playground Beach", adjacent to the village marina features more elaborate play equipment including the 'playship' Captain Bell.
